Boarding- Willow Breeze offers full care boarding for all breeds both in pasture and stalled. All horses, pastured and stalled are fed twice daily. Boarding fees for 2013 start at $300 dollars per month. Stallions are welcome. We have a large outdoor arena, small schooling ring and plans in the works for a covered arena now at the new farm in Victoria.
Lessons- We offer lessons in general horsemanship, western, english and halter showing for all breeds. Our trainer has experience in a wide variety of breeds and uses natural horsemanship techniques. Lessons are $35 per hour.
Training- We offer training for horse and rider in general horsemanship, as well as showing. Our empahsis is on teaching the owner to be able to communicate with their horse and be able to maintain the horse on their own. Our students are winning in Halter, Hunter, Western and Trail. We accept all breeds of horses for training.. Our trainer has ten years experience showing in Paints and Qh's prior to coming to WBA to show Arabians. Training fees start at $500 per month. One lesson a week is included in the training fee.
Showing- Our trainer does show horses for clients as well as WBA horses and is available to coach or help you at shows. Show fees are expenses plus $50 a day per horse for local shows and $100 per day for away shows. Hauling to the shows if you don't take your own trailer will be charged by the mile with a $50 minimum charge. Rates will vary depending on the current gas prices.
Breeding-WBA is a full service Reproduction facility. We offer mangement and breeding services for both mares and stallions. Our breeding manager has a Bachelor of Science in Equine Reproduction & Management from Tarleton State University and 15 years experience in the breeding shed. We offer both AI, Live Cover and Shipped Semen services, as well as foaling out and mare work We strive to keep the process as natural as possible and to keep manipulation of the mare to a minimum. We accept all breeds for breeding We use Dr. Sam Williams of Cross Roads Vet Clinic in Victoria, Texas as our repro vet. We stand a selection of stallions year round as well as offer collection services to outside stallions that wish to haul in for just a few shipments a year.
