Regionals 2010 - Imperial Saturn Top Five Hunter Hack, Satilll two Top Fives Carriage Driving and Carriage Reinsmanship, CBA Lightning Top Five HA Halter, HA Trail, HA Show Hack HA SHIH Amatuer, CBA Polaris Top Five HA Trail.

Spindletop was yet another success for the show team this year. Imperial Saturn made his debut in Hunter Hack placing second at the age of 19 and once again showing off his versatility. He also had great rides in SHUS and Sporthorse Show Hack and qualified in all his classes for Regionals. CBA Lightning recieved her Legion of Honor this show and BBQ was held after the ceremony. WBA Farrah Moniet made her SHIH debut placing 3rd in a large tough class. Great job and lots of fun as usual to be had at the Katy shows.

The Alamo Arabian Fiesta was once again a great show for our WBA team. Imperial Saturn made his return to the ring in a new class for him- Sporthorse Show Hack and we had a blast despite the horrid weather. CBA Lightning had a great showing as well goin Res. Champion HA SHIH Mare and numerous other placings including first in the HA Hunter Hack Open. GK Partyboy had a respectable showing in hand despite the lights going out and the bad lightning during his class. CBA Polaris did well in Sporthorse Undersaddle, show hack, hunter hack and trail.

At the Region 9 Party Palooza in Ft Worth we had a great time and brought home lots of awards for our 2009 accomplishments in the region. CBA Polaris was High Point Working Western Horse, and CBA Lighting Res. Champion Sporthorse to name just a few of the horse awards we recieved. Our Trainer Sandy Johnson, picked up the Sporthorse Competitor of theYear Award at the Annual Horsemans Awards dinner that night.

January found our show team at the HAAS show in Katy, Texas. Hutk Sihr received a first place in Sporthorse Stallions ATH and a 3rd in Open. CBA Lightining won the open Half Arabian Hunter Hack with Sandy Johnson in the irons for Chris and Koral Kornegay. Lightning also placed first in the HA Hunter Hack ATR with Chris in the irons.Lightining also did well in hand and ended up the High Point Horse of the Show. CBA Polaris won champion half arabian sporthorse stallion in hand and was champion HA Trail Horse. GK Partyboy made his undersaddle debut competing in Novice Sporthorse Undersadle and Hunter Hack he placed well in both classes. In the Hunter Hack it was a clean sweep for the WBA team with Lightning , Polaris and Partyboy taking the top honors.

The USEF Farnam Horse of the Year Standings are in for 2009. Taking home Pure bred Region 9 Halter Horse of the Year is Sabiya Sukkarah owned by Sharon Litizzette and sired by Asami Ruuh. Sabiya finished 22nd in the National Horse of the Year standings as well. CBA Polaris was once again the Half Arabian Working Western Horse of the Year for owners Chris Kornegay and Debbie Loff. And not to be out done CBA Lightning was the Half Arabian Region 9 Halter Horse of the Year, Reserve Regional Champion HA Sporthorse of the Year, Reserve Champion HA Amateur Hunter Pleasure, Res. Champion HA Open Hunter Pleasure and 3rd in the Region in HA Working Western and Jr Exhibitor HA Hunter Pleasure. She finished 4th in the Region in HA Specialty. All in all a great year for the show team.

October, 2009 had us in Lexington, Kentucky for the Arabian Sporthorse National Championships. We are pleased to announce that we took four National Top Tens in Kentucky. CBA Polaris owned by Carancahua Bay Arabians placed 3rd in both Open with WBA's Sandy Johnson on the lead and in Amateur Stallions In Hand with youth handler Koral Kornegay on the lead for her mom and aunt.

CBA Lightning also placed Top Ten with WBA trainer Sandy Johnson in Open HA Mares In Hand and Amateur with owner Chris Kornegay. Congratulations all on a successful first Sporthorse Nationals attempt.

July found us braving the `100 degree heat in Waco for the Region 9 Sporthorse Championships. Bringing home top honors for the WBA team was GK Partyboy who was named Region 9 Champion Half Arabian Amateur Gelding in Hand with Jenny Patton on the reins. Party was also Reserve Regional Champion HA Sporthorse Gelding in the Open class with Sandy Johnson leading for owner Jane & Alton Simicek. CBA Lightning placed Top Five in HA Arabian Mares in Hand Open with Sandy and also placed Top Five in HA Show Hack with Sandy. Also competing for WBA were Moudafeh el Sharaf and Nasser el Sharaf, who gave a good accouting of themselves and showed beautifully.

June saw the WBA team in Ft Worth at the Region 9 Championships. CBA Lightning brought home a Top Five in Open HA Halter Mares with Sandy Johnson. Lighting also got a Top Five in both ATR with Chris Korneday and Open Trail with Sandy. CBA Rhettoric placed Top Five in ATR Trail with Chris up. And finally our star CBA Polaris was named Region 9 Champion ATR Trailhorse and recieved a Top Five with Sandy in the Open. Not a bad trip all in all..

May continues to be a good show month for the WBA team. At the Spindletop show, Asami Ruuh placed 1st in Get of Sire represented by his daughters Sabiya Sukkarah and Asima Ruuh. Asami also placed 2nd in Sporthorse in Hand and was Res. Champion Sporthorse Undersaddle. Nasser el Sharaf placed 2nd in SHIH geldings and CBA Polaris placed 1st and Champion in SHIH HA stallions. Polaris also recieved his Legion of Honor at this show and we all had a great time at his BBQ. CBA Lightning had placings in Sporthorse HA Mares and SHUS as well as hunter pleasure and she be stable mate Polaris to win her first Trail class.

May is starting off a great month for the WBA show team. Starting with the Alamo Spring Fiesta where our guys racked up the awards. WBA's own homebred Nasser El Sharaf won both the ATH and Open SHIH Geldings and was the Champion PB Gelding. GK Partyboy garnered a 2nd and 3rd in half arabian SHIH and Hutk Sihr placed 1st in SHIH Stallions in Hand, 2nd in Open Halter and 2nd in ATH SHIH stallions and was Res. Champion Stallion. CBA Polaris was named the winner in both the ATH & Open SHIH HA Stallions an went Champion Half Arab Stallion. Polaris also placed 1st in both ATR and Open Trail. CBA Lightning won honors in HA SHIH Mares open and ATH and was second and Res. Champ in SHUS. She also made her Show Hack debut placing 1st in open and 2nd in ATR. L:ightning also made her western Trail debut and qualified for Regionals

March 2009 was the Beeville Spring Show hosted by the STAR Arabian club. Nasser El Sharaf represented WBA in Liberty and won the class. CBA Lightning and CBA Polaris also won in Sporthorse, Hunter Pleasure, Western Pl and Trail.

January 2009 We had another successful outing at the Houston All Arabian Show. Starting off with a 1st & 2nd in Halter with Sabiya Sukkarah in open and a 3rd in ATH. Asima Ruuh garned two 3rd places as well. Moving to the undersaddle classes CBA Polaris won the Open Trail and Trail Championship with high scores under both judges. He also garned several ribbons in Western Pleasure and was also won the HA Sporthorse Stallions and was named Champion Half Arab Sport Stallion. Asami Ruuh placed 2nd in PB Sport Stallions and 3rd in the Amateur in a tough class of 8 horses. He also got 4th in a huge Sporthorse Undersaddle class. CBA Lightning had a great Sprothorse outing as well placing 2nd in both her open and Amateur classes in hand and winning the Reserve Championship for HA Mares as well as in HA Sporthorses Undersaddle with Junior owner Koral Kornegay up. It was a fun show and we Thank to Carol Maginn , Jenny Patton and all our riders and help for making it such a success for us all.

January 2009 -The United States Equestrian Federation 2008 Horse of the Year Rankings are in and once again our team did well. CBA Lightning won USEF Region 9 HA Sporthorse Champion of 2008 and CBA Polaris was the USEF HA Region 9 Working Western Champion for the year. Sabiya Sukkarah also ranked in the Top Five in USEF Region 9 PB Halter with only the points from her show ring debut counting. Asami Ruuh finished in the Top Ten in the Region in PB Sporthorse. CBA Polaris also finshed the year ranked 3rd in the Nation with USEF and also made the Top Ten in HA western pleasure. CBA Lightning finished up high in the National Standing as well in Sporthorse and ranked 3rd in the Region HA Hunter with Junior rider Koral Kornegay. and 4th in Amateur with Chris Kornegay. Congratulations to all on a succesful show year.

* October, 2008 We are thrilled to announce the results of our first trip to US Nationals. CBA Polaris Top Ten in Open Trail with Sandy Johnson up and also Top Ten in AOTH Trail with owner Chris Kornegay up.

*October 4, 2008, Its with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaa Jub Ali. He had a long and full life and will be greatly missed.

*Congratulations to Asami Ruuh Region 9 Top Five Sporthorse Stallions In Hand Regional Championship in open with Sandy Johnson and in ATH with Dr.Chris Kornegay. Top Five Honors also go to CBA Lightning with Sandy Johnson in Half Arab Sporthorse Mares In Hand open Champion Half Arab Trail Horse. A job well done.

*Congratulations to Dr. Chris Kornegay, Region 9 Reserve Regional Champion Half Arab AOTR Trail Horse with CBA Polaris and Polaris also went Regional Reserve Half Arab Open Trail Horse with Sandy Johnson up.

*Another great Spindletop Arabian show for the team. WBA's Asima Ruuh placed 1st in Yearling Fillies. Windamere's Subiya Sakkarah made her class A debut placing 1st in 2yr old Fillies and Reserve Champion Mare. The two girls then went on to represent their sire Asami Ruuh in the Get of Sire class and won that for him. Asami Ruuh also garned 2 seconds in Sporthorse Undersaddle, one with Chris Kornegay in ATR and in Open with Sandy Johnson. CBA Lighting had a fantastic show too, placing 1st in SHIH Open and 2nd in Amateur and was SHIH Champion Half Arab Mare and High Point Half Arab Sporthorse. She recieved 2 seconds in SHUS and was Res. Champion HA SHUS. Lightning also had several first place placings with owner Chris Korrnegay in the mainring hunter pleasure classes. CBA Polaris had two first placings in Half Arabian Trail. All in all a very successful showing for our show team

*At the 2008 Star Arabian Spring Show in Beeville, Tx Sabiya Sukkarah and Asima Ruuh made there ring debuts placing 1st and 3rd respectively in halter. Well done girls.

* Starting off the New Year in a grand way - WBA had a fantastic HAAS show in January. CBA Lightning won the open and Amateur Sporthorse Ha Mares and was the Champion Sporthorse Mare with trainer Sandy Johnson. Moudafeh El Sharaf finished Third in Sporthorse Geldings with the third highest score for the show. CBA Polaris won the HA Sporthorse stallions with trainer Sandy Johnson and was second with junior owner Koral Kornegay and wes named Champion HA Sporthorse Stallion. Hutk Sihr placed sixth in a very large Pb stallion class with handler Sandy Johnson and had a nice showing with Junior handler Koral Kornegay. Hutk Sihr also placed sith in main ring halter. In the undersaddle classes CBA Lightning won the JTR HA Sporthorse Undersaddle and was Res in the JTR Championship. She finished 3rd in the Open Ha Undersaddle. CBA Rhettoric had a fantastic ride in the Pb Trail Class scoring a 72 and placing 2nd in the class behind Karlan Downing and KM Aristoson. He was named Res. Ch in the Pb Trail Championship. CBA Polaris won the Ha Trail Class and the Half Arab Trail Championship. So in all Three Championships and Two Reserve Championships for our show team. Not a bad start to the New Year.

*Well the results are in and WE DID IT AGAIN- once again WBA's show team is at the Top of USEF's Regional Awards- Congratulations to CBA Polaris- 2007 USEF Regional Champion in Half Arab Open Western Pleasure with trainer Sandy Johnson. Polaris also finished in the Top Ten with Jr Rider Koral Kornegay and Amateur rider Chris Kornegay. Congratulations are in order for Asami Ruuh who made the USEF Regional List in 4 disciplines- Sporthorse, Hunter, Halter and Costume. CBA Lightning USEF Regional placings in HA Sporthorse, HA Hunter Pleasure, Halter and Ha Costume. CBA Rhettoric also made the USEF list in Youth Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure.

WBA show team congratulates Chris Kornegay and CBA Polaris on winning the Region 9 Championship in Amateur Trail. Congratulations are also in order for CBA Lightning on her Top Five Placing in Half Arabian Halter Mares at Regionals.

*Another successful outing for the WBA show team at the 2007 Spindletop Class A show held in Katy Texas. Asami Ruuh placed first in Open Sporthorse Stallions earning a score of 83 with trainer Sandy Johnson. He then went back in the ring with Amateur handler, Jenny Patton where he won first place with a score of 88! Sami also won the Championship for the Stallions In hand and then for and encore followed up by winning the Undersaddle Championship. Way to Go Sami.

Congratulations are also in order for first time competitor Emily Marshburn on her first place win on GK Party Boy in Leadline 6 and Under. Great Job Emily.

WBA's Moudafeh El Sharaf was awarded third place in Open Sporthorse Geldings with a score of 77. Koral Kornegay also recieved a third place in HA Sporthorse Mares in Hand. Congratulations Koral.

The Straight Egyptian Stallion CBA Rhettoric placed first in PB Trail as well. Congratualtions everyone.

* We are happy to announce a succesful outing at the 2007 Beeville Star of Texas Spring Show. Congratulations to Asami Ruuh for a first in Open Hunter Pl, a second in Sporthorse Undersaddle a Third in disciplined rail and third in the Hunter Championship. Also in the winners circle were Chris Kornegay on CBA Rhettoric with firsts in Western Pleasure and ribbons in Trail and Hunter. Koral Kornegay also took home first place ribbons on CBA Lightning in Hunter Pleasure. WBA's Moudafeh El Sharaf recieved a second in Sporthorse in Hand

We are please to announce that the WBA homebred colt Moudafeh El Sharaf won the Arabian Sporthorse Geldings in Hand and was named Champion Purebred Sporthorse Gelding at the 2007 January Jubilee in Katy, Texas. Asami Ruuh continued his winning ways with a First Place in Sporthorse Undersaddle and was named Champion Sporthorse Undersaddle. He also recieved ribbons in Sporthorse In Hand, Hunter, Native Costume and Halter. CBA Polaris ribboned in Half Arabian Pleasure, Open, Amateur and Youth and CBA Lightning was Third in Half Arabian Hunter undersaddle. CBA Rhetoric recieved ribbons in Purebred Western Pleasure with trainer Sandy Johnson and Amateur owner Chris Kornegay.

*Willow Breeze is happy to announce a sucessful showing at the 2006 Christmas Show in Katy, Tx. Asami Ruuh was named Reserve Champion Sr. Stallion and Reserve Champion Overall Stallion as well as placing fourth in Native Costume. CBA Lightning was the Reserve Champion HA Jr Hunter Pleasure horse with Sandy Johnson, and placed in the Top Ten with owner Koral Kornegay in Youth and also with Chris Kornegay in Amateur. CBA Polaris placed second in Western Pleasure with Chris Kornegay and 3rd in the Championship with Sandy Johnson. Willow Breeze's own Nasser El Sharaf ( aka Commander) was fourth in Liberty. Congratulations to all for a fine showing.

*The Results are in; and our Training program is happy to announce that Asami Ruuh, owned by Sharon Litizzette, is the 2006 USEF Farnam-Platform Horse of the Year Competition Region 9 Reserve Champion in Purebred Arabian Halter and Top Ten in the Nation Overall in the Horse of the Year Standings in Halter. He also made the list of top Sport Horses in the Program. We are also thrilled to announce that CBA Polaris, owned by Chris Kornegay, is the Region 9 Half/ Anglo Arabian Working Western Champion in the USEF standings as well as placing 4th in the Region in HA/AA Western Pleasure Adult Amateur and finishing 13th Overall Nationally in Working Western and 24th Overall in AA Western Pleasure. CBA Lightning, owned by Koral Kornegay also ended up on USEF Horse of the Year Top 100 Listings with a Regional Top Ten in HA/ AA Halter and 53rd Overall Nationally. Sharon Litizzette is listed at Number 219th in the Top Five Hundred Arabian Owners listing based soley on the accomplishments of Asami Ruuh in 2006. Asami Ruuh's accomplishments were also good enough to single handedly rank his sire, Hadaya El Tareef, at 76th in the Top 100 Arabian Sires List for 2006. * Congratulations to Vicki Guthrie of Willis, Texas on her purchase of The Shamaal. Shamaal is 2000 bay gelding by The Shamin out of Limaczar's Lacee. Shamaal has placings in Halter, Walk Trot, Leadline and Liberty.

We wish the Guthries many years of success with Shamaal in 4H and know that he will have a loving home with their family.

*Congratulations to Koral Kornegay for winning High Point Junior Rider on CBA Lightning at the 2006 STAR Arabian Club Fall Show. Koral competed in Halter, Showmanship, Hunter and Equitation Classes with Lightning and also rode CBA Polaris to ribbons in Western Pleasure. WBA would also like to announce that Nasser El Sharaf garnered his first win with a First place in a large Liberty class at this show. Other WBA stars included Koublat Al Sahm making his debut in yearling halter and Asami Ruuh who had a win in Halter and ribbons in Hunter and Disciplined Rail.

* Congratulations to Chris Kornegay on her win at the Alamo Arabian Spring Fiesta 2006 with CBA Polaris in Half Arabian Trail and Western Pleasure. Congratulations to Imperial Saturn for placing in the Open Hunter Pleasure.

*Congratulations to Koral Kornegay on her wins in Hunter Pleasure at the Star Arabian Club Spring Fling. Koral and her mare CBA Lightning won two large classes in Hunter Pleasure and placed in HA Halter and Sport Horse in Hand as well. Willow Breeze's own Moudafeh El Sharaf took first place honors in PB Two and Under Colts and placed in Sporthorse In Hand too.

Asami Ruuh continued his winning ways with a win in PB Halter Stallions, a Reserve in Sporthorse In Hand and placings undersaddle in Western and Hunter Pleasure.

*ASAMI RUUH was named 2005 USEF Regional Reserve Champion Youth Western Pleasure Horse, and is currently leading as of May 1st the National and Regional USEF High Points in Halter. is listed on the Sport Horse Leading Horse Listings, and has placed his sire and owner on the Leading Sire and Owners Lists for 2006.

*We are happy to announce that Willow Breeze Arabians had a wonderful showing at the Arabian Riders and Breeders Society's January Jubilee Class A show in Katy, Texas the weekend of the 13th-15th. Asami Ruuh, owned by Ed and Sharon Litizzette of Weed California won his Open and Amateur Halter classes and was named Champion Stallion in both Amateur and Open. " Sami" placed fourth in open Sport Horse Stallions in Hand and Third in Amateur Sporthorse Stallions in Hand. Asami also showed undersaddle and placed second in Ideal Hunter Arabian. Gharajhy Sihr, also owned by the Litizzette's was second in Amateur and Open Halter Mares and was named Reserve Champion Mare in both Amateur and Open. "Gypsy as she is known was also the Reserve Champion Youth Halter Horse and second in Youth Mares. GK Party Boy owned by Katy Brown finished second in HA Geldings and Third in Amateur. He also won the HA SportHorse Geldings in Hand Open and Amateur and was named both Champion and Reserve Champion Sporthorse In Hand Half Arabian Gelding. We are very proud of all our horses and their handlers and sincerely thank their owners for the chance to work with such outstanding individuals. It was also a triumph for the SE arabian as all of the above winners are SE and SE sired.
