January 2009 We had another successful outing at the Houston All Arabian Show. Starting off with a 1st & 2nd in Halter with Sabiya Sukkarah in open and a 3rd in ATH. Asima Ruuh garned two 3rd places as well. Moving to the undersaddle classes CBA Polaris won the Open Trail and Trail Championship with high scores under both judges. He also garned several ribbons in Western Pleasure and was also won the HA Sporthorse Stallions and was named Champion Half Arab Sport Stallion. Asami Ruuh placed 2nd in PB Sport Stallions and 3rd in the Amateur in a tough class of 8 horses. He also got 4th in a huge Sporthorse Undersaddle class. CBA Lightning had a great Sprothorse outing as well placing 2nd in both her open and Amateur classes in hand and winning the Reserve Championship for HA Mares as well as in HA Sporthorses Undersaddle with Junior owner Koral Kornegay up. It was a fun show and we Thank to Carol Maginn , Jenny Patton and all our riders and help for making it such a success for us all.
January 2009 -The United States Equestrian Federation 2008 Horse of the Year Rankings are in and once again our team did well. CBA Lightning won USEF Region 9 HA Sporthorse Champion of 2008 and CBA Polaris was the USEF HA Region 9 Working Western Champion for the year. Sabiya Sukkarah also ranked in the Top Five in USEF Region 9 PB Halter with only the points from her show ring debut counting. Asami Ruuh finished in the Top Ten in the Region in PB Sporthorse. CBA Polaris also finshed the year ranked 3rd in the Nation with USEF and also made the Top Ten in HA western pleasure. CBA Lightning finished up high in the National Standing as well in Sporthorse and ranked 3rd in the Region HA Hunter with Junior rider Koral Kornegay. and 4th in Amateur with Chris Kornegay. Congratulations to all on a succesful show year.

*Another great Spindletop Arabian show for the team. WBA's Asima Ruuh placed 1st in Yearling Fillies. Windamere's Subiya Sakkarah made her class A debut placing 1st in 2yr old Fillies and Reserve Champion Mare. The two girls then went on to represent their sire Asami Ruuh in the Get of Sire class and won that for him. Asami Ruuh also garned 2 seconds in Sporthorse Undersaddle, one with Chris Kornegay in ATR and in Open with Sandy Johnson. CBA Lighting had a fantastic show too, placing 1st in SHIH Open and 2nd in Amateur and was SHIH Champion Half Arab Mare and High Point Half Arab Sporthorse. She recieved 2 seconds in SHUS and was Res. Champion HA SHUS. Lightning also had several first place placings with owner Chris Korrnegay in the mainring hunter pleasure classes. CBA Polaris had two first placings in Half Arabian Trail. All in all a very successful showing for our show team.
*At the 2008 Star Arabian Spring Show in Beeville, Tx Sabiya Sukkarah and Asima Ruuh made there show ring debuts placing 1st and 3rd respectively in halter. Well done girls.
* Starting off the New Year in a grand way - WBA had a fantastic HAAS show in January. CBA Lightning won the open and Amateur Sporthorse Ha Mares and was the Champion Sporthorse Mare with trainer Sandy Johnson. Moudafeh El Sharaf finished Third in Sporthorse Geldings with the third highest score for the show. CBA Polaris won the HA Sporthorse stallions with trainer Sandy Johnson and was second with junior owner Koral Kornegay and wes named Champion HA Sporthorse Stallion. Hutk Sihr placed sixth in a very large Pb stallion class with handler Sandy Johnson and had a nice showing with Junior handler Koral Kornegay. Hutk Sihr also placed sith in main ring halter. In the undersaddle classes CBA Lightning won the JTR HA Sporthorse Undersaddle and was Res in the JTR Championship. She finished 3rd in the Open Ha Undersaddle. CBA Rhettoric had a fantastic ride in the Pb Trail Class scoring a 72 and placing 2nd in the class behind Karlan Downing and KM Aristoson. He was named Res. Ch in the Pb Trail Championship. CBA Polaris won the Ha Trail Class and the Half Arab Trail Championship. So in all Three Championships and Two Reserve Championships for our show team. Not a bad start to the New Year.
*Well the results are in and WE DID IT AGAIN- once again WBA's show team is at the Top of USEF's Regional Awards- Congratulations to CBA Polaris- 2007 USEF Regional Champion in Half Arab Open Western Pleasure with trainer Sandy Johnson. Polaris also finished in the Top Ten with Jr Rider Koral Kornegay and Amateur rider Chris Kornegay. Congratulations are in order for Asami Ruuh who made the USEF Regional List in 4 disciplines- Sporthorse, Hunter, Halter and Costume. CBA Lightning USEF Regional placings in HA Sporthorse, HA Hunter Pleasure, Halter and Ha Costume. CBA Rhettoric also made the USEF list in Youth Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure.

*Another successful outing for the WBA show team at the 2007 Spindletop Class A show held in Katy Texas. Asami Ruuh placed first in Open Sporthorse Stallions earning a score of 83 with trainer Sandy Johnson. He then went back in the ring with Amateur handler, Jenny Patton where he won first place with a score of 88! Sami also won the Championship for the Stallions In hand and then for and encore followed up by winning the Undersaddle Championship. Way to Go Sami.
Congratulations are also in order for first time competitor Emily Marshburn on her first place win on GK Party Boy in Leadline 6 and Under. Great Job Emily.

CBA Polaris ribboned in Half Arabian Pleasure, Open, Amateur and Youth and CBA Lightning was Third in Half Arabian Hunter undersaddle. CBA Rhetoric recieved ribbons in Purebred Western Pleasure with trainer Sandy Johnson and Amateur owner Chris Kornegay.
*Willow Breeze is happy to announce a sucessful showing at the 2006 Christmas Show in Katy, Tx. Asami Ruuh was named Reserve Champion Sr. Stallion and Reserve Champion Overall Stallion as well as placing fourth in Native Costume. CBA Lightning was the Reserve Champion HA Jr Hunter Pleasure horse with Sandy Johnson, and placed in the Top Ten with owner Koral Kornegay in Youth and also with Chris Kornegay in Amateur. CBA Polaris placed second in Western Pleasure with Chris Kornegay and 3rd in the Championship with Sandy Johnson. Willow Breeze's own Nasser El Sharaf ( aka Commander) was fourth in Liberty. *The Results are in; and our Training program is happy to announce that Asami Ruuh, owned by Sharon Litizzette, is the 2006 USEF Farnam-Platform Horse of the Year Competition Region 9 Reserve Champion in Purebred Arabian Halter and Top Ten in the Nation Overall in the Horse of the Year Standings in Halter. He also made the list of top Sport Horses in the Program. We are also thrilled to announce that CBA Polaris, owned by Chris Kornegay, is the Region 9 Half/ Anglo Arabian Working Western Champion in the USEF standings as well as placing 4th in the Region in HA/AA Western Pleasure Adult Amateur and finishing 13th Overall Nationally in Working Western and 24th Overall in AA Western Pleasure. CBA Lightning, owned by Koral Kornegay also ended up on USEF Horse of the Year Top 100 Listings with a Regional Top Ten in HA/ AA Halter and 53rd Overall Nationally. Sharon Litizzette is listed at Number 219th in the Top Five Hundred Arabian Owners listing based soley on the accomplishments of Asami Ruuh in 2006. Asami Ruuh's accomplishments were also good enough to single handedly rank his sire, Hadaya El Tareef, at 76th in the Top 100 Arabian Sires List for 2006. *Congratulations to Koral Kornegay for winning High Point Junior Rider on CBA Lightning at the 2006 STAR Arabian Club Fall Show. Koral competed in Halter, Showmanship, Hunter and Equitation Classes with Lightning and also rode CBA Polaris to ribbons in Western Pleasure. WBA would also like to announce that Nasser El Sharaf garnered his first win with a First place in a large Liberty class at this show. Other WBA stars included Koublat Al Sahm making his debut in yearling halter and Asami Ruuh who had a win in Halter and ribbons in Hunter and Disciplined Rail.

*Congratulations to Candice Humphreys on her Top Ten Placings at the 2005 Egyptian Event in Lexington, Kentucky. Candace showed the stallion Asami Ruuh owned by Windamere Arabians to a 4th place finish in Western Pleasure and Imperial Saturn of Willow Breeze Arabians to a 5th place in Hunter. She also placed Top Ten with Taliiq Jinniy for Windamere in Jr to Handle Halter Mares.
Also placing in the Top Ten at this years Event, was Willow Breeze's Imperial Saturn in Hunter and Asami Ruuh of Windamere in Halter Stallions 6-9 Years with Sandy Johnson.
Imperial Saturn also made a splash in the Stallion Showcase and Egyptian Breeder's Challenge Auction, where his futurity breeding sold to Sharon Litizzette of Weed, California. Thank you Sharon and we look forward to hearing great things from this foal.
